I started Ona AI because I kept seeing the same thing in small service businesses: owners who were brilliant at the work, and buried in everything around it. Enquiries, quotes, bookings, follow-ups, invoices, chasing. Slow replies and missed messages cost them jobs, but the bigger cost was their time. Evenings and weekends lost to admin that a good system could run on its own.
Most "AI" for small business is a chatbot bolted onto a website. Useful, but it's one piece of the puzzle. I wanted to build the whole thing: systems that capture every enquiry, qualify it the way you would, book it into your diary, chase the ones that go quiet, and run the back office, from quotes to invoices to the follow-ups nobody has time for.
